The League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri will hold a general meeting themed “Election Boot Camp” Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Community Room of Fire Station No. 6, 2620 W. Battlefield, Springfield, Mo. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
Greene County Clerk Richard Struckhoff will cover various election-related and voting topics. Other scheduled speakers are Greene County Republican Party representative Danette Proctor, Greene County Libertarian Party representative Mark “Majic” Jones, and Greene County Democratic Party representative Kelli Rohrbaugh. These three will provide an overview of the November election. Also, speakers will provide an unbiased overview of the three Propositions and one Constitutional Amendment that will appear on the ballot. There will be a limited amount of time for questions.
