LWV Provides Voter Info Tool VOTE411
Ahead of the Nov. 3 general election in Missouri, the League of Southwest Missouri offers the nonpartisan election resource VOTE411.org. This “one-stop shop” for election information provides simple tools to help Missouri voters navigate the voting process.
VOTE411 shows candidate information, polling place information, a voter registration tool, and other helpful election information. By entering their address, voters can see which candidates and ballot issues will appear on their personalized ballot.
Visitors to this website can also find it by clicking on the yellow Election Information button “floating” on each page.
“Voters need simple, nonpartisan tools to help them navigate the voting process and VOTE411 is the nation’s premiere online election resource,” said Kate Evert, VOTE411 director for the League of Southwest Missouri.
The League of Women Voters’ digital guide to the November General Election will be available in mid-September on this website and at VOTE411.org
VOTE411 helps millions of voters each year—many of them young people and first-time voters. This site helps them learn about where candidate stand, what’s on their ballot, how to find their polling place, and more.
“We encourage voters to visit VOTE411 to make a voting plan so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently on Nov. 3,” said Evert.
