How Missouri Women Gained the Vote and Changed History
We’re familiar with the nationwide fight for the 19th Amendment, but what do you know about how it happened in Missouri?
The LWV of Columbia-Boone County is partnering with Missouri Humanities to present a second Virtual Book Club. This one will feature author Margot McMillen who wrote “The Golden Lane: How Missouri Women Gained the Vote and Changed History,” a short overview of the fight of Missouri suffragists to gain the right to vote.
