Meet your state lawmakers at a members-only program sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri, Leadership Springfield alumni and Junior League of Springfield.
“Meet the Electeds” will be held as a virtual event Friday, Feb. 26, noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. It is open only to members of the three organizations.
In a timed rotation using Zoom’s breakout group function, lawmakers will move from one group of members to the next. They’ll answer your questions and share their goals for the legislative session now underway.
So far, several state representatives and state senators have confirmed their attendance. This is the third time for the program. Past participants, both elected and not, have given it high marks as a great venue for information sharing.
